Leaders' Circle
United Way's leadership giving society, the Leaders' Circle, recognizes individuals in our community who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to helping others and donate $1,000 or greater each year. United Way is proud to acknowledge the collective strength of these community leaders whose dedication to giving and LIVING UNITED has made a crucial difference.

Tocqueville Society
Individuals who contribute $10,000 or greater to United Way’s annual campaign are recognized and celebrated as members of the Tocqueville Society.

Our Tocqueville Society was established in 1993 under the leadership of Lisa and Leon Gorman. Since that time, membership has grown to almost 80 households, raising over $900,000 for our community.

United Way understands that you want to make a difference right here in Greater Portland. As a leader in the community, you are invited to join like-minded individuals who share your generosity, compassion, and dedication to build a stronger community and improve lives as members of the Tocqueville Society.
